Customer feedback found at mercurycougar.net: Boy service is just not the same as the "good old"? days. I ordered a half a trunk load of parts and pieces from West Coast Classic Cougar and about 2 hours later got a phone call informing me that the order was picked and shipped. What are things coming to? Where is the fun in that?.....no more waiting days / weeks to find out if the parts are even available, no more multiple phone calls begging for your parts to be shipped. And Hey, Don/Lin....that 2 hours....you guys gotta slow down a bit or yer gonna hurt yourselves. LOL Thanks again guys!! Jim Ferguson, Langley BC

Got the part and it looked original and felt sturdy. I had to rate it a little lower on FIT because when I put it on, the fan kept hitting no matter how I adjusted the shroud or the radiator. It's possible that I have the wrong spacer for my fan blade, I'm not sure. However a quick trip to a local body shop and a couple minutes with a heatgun and it fit no problem. Now the engine temp barely climbs over the halfway mark! Works for me!

    Question
    rolinuss Asked:
1968 - 302 with 20" 3 core radiator Have above fan shroud installed. Will this shroud accept your Clutch Fan - Radiator - 7 Blade - 390 / 427 GT-E / 428CJ - Repro which has 18 1/4 diameter? I guess it will be a tight fit if it fits at all. Thanks for letting me know.

    Question
    Asked:
Is this the Scott Drake repo, part C9ZZ-8146-BR? There are a number of complaints of fitment on this shroud. Also, want to ask if anyone has seen the top of this shroud chopped up under higher RPM driving. There are those complaints also based on the flimsy material of some after market fan shrouds.

This shroud is not made by Scott Drake. All of the feedback we have received regarding this shroud has been very positive.
