    Many used items in our pictures have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. 

    The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. 

    We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

    "Core" Items:
     If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

    NOTE! When we ship a rear end, we will remove the third member and ship it in a separate box. Some assembly will be required.

    Housing overall width - 55-3/4 inches flange to flange. Spring perches are 43 inches apart on center.

    Overall width measured from faces of axles, not the tips. All 1971-73 have the same overall width of 61 inches.
    Rear axle assembly - Housing, Axles, brake backing plates, and third member. As removed from a 1971-73 West Coast Cougar organ donor car. We recommend a bearing and seal inspection prior to use. For safety sake, brake components should never be reused. Door tag code 2, or 2.75:1 ring and pinion ratio only, non-locking only.

    Bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5
