Below is a general description of what the criteria is for our product condition grades. These are generalizations that are intended to give you an idea of the condition of the product at a quick glance. Because different parts degrade at different rates, there are variances in what the letters represent, please see the products description for details about the condition of any particular product.
A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality
D, E, F = Worse, Worser, Worsest
D0OE-9425-D Cast iron intake manifold used on all 1971 C or J code 429CJ engines in a Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Stock 4 barrel intake manifold. Take off manifold with correct casting number of D0OE-9425-D. Intake shipped bare, less carburetor studs, heater tube, vacuum fittings, and water neck where applicable. This unique manifold used a General Motors Rochester Quadrajet carburetor with a spread-bore pattern. Typical after-market carburetors like Holley will not work on this intake manifold. Current manifold dates 0M29? Might be Dec 29, 1970.
*Excludes 429 Super Cobra Jet found on Ford Mustang / Torino, and Mercury Cyclone. That SCJ manifold is designed for a Holley carburetor.
