    Description

    Please Note:

Many used items in our picture(s) have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

"Core" Items: If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

Power steering drag link for all 1970 Cougar and Mustang and 1969 Boss 302 Cougar Eliminator & Boss2 Mustang with power assist manual steering system. This power steering drag link may have a 1970 part number, but it is basically the same as the 1969 Boss 302 version, which was much thicker than the standard 1969 power steering drag link. Can be installed on 1969 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs as long as you upgrade to 1970 inner tie rods.
The 1970 drag link measures about 0.850 inches thick.
The 1969 drag link measures about 0.790 inches thick.

This is a used part that is over 50 years old. The threads for the control valve will be in 'good' condition, but there is a high likelihood that the hole for the shear pin will have a broken pin inside.

    Replaces Ford part number D0ZZ-3304-B.

We are so lucky to have these guys. They know their stuff and are one of the few companies that still maintain an inventory of salvage cars. Finding this drag link in a nearby junkyard is a thing of the past. Order one here and have it on your door step in a couple days.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...
