    Rod used for locking the C-6 transmission in "Park". Connects to the lower tab of the steering column and the C-6 transmission shift arm. Prevents the transmission from shifting out of park when the ignition key is removed. Rod is about 15-1/2 inches long. The C-6, automatic transmission, was used only on 1970 Cougars with 428 Cobra Jet engines. Transmission code "U" on your door data tag. Ford part number D0ZZ-7E330-D. *Trivia - The 4V Cleveland engines were not available with the heavier duty C6 transmissions from the factory in 1970. Not even in the 1970 Mustangs.
