Very good used 1970 Cougar or Mustang console storage compartment. Sometimes called a 'well'. This is the "before 12/1/69" version, without cigar lighter and button or latch. According to the MPC there were three versions: prior to 9/2/69, 9/2/69 to 12/1/69, and after 12/1/69. These originally came in 6 different colors - black blue red ginger green tobacco. Notice that this part does not have the cigar lighter? In 1970 the cigar lighter was moved to the dash. Ford stuck the cigar lighter into the position previously occupied by the ignition switch in 1969 cars.
*Note - Excludes 1970 Shelby Mustangs.
