    Many used items in our pictures have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. 

    The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. 

    We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

    "Core" Items:
     If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

    Used carbon canister filled with charcoal or carbon particulates for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This unit mounts to or near the passenger side (right hand) engine frame mount. All 1970 California sold Cougars and Mustangs came with this canister to comply with California's strict emission standards. 

    Ford part # D0AZ-9D653-C, casting # D0AF-9D653-C.

    *NOTE* These are 40 year old canisters, at this late stage the filtering ability of the particulates are probably not that effective for pollution testing. Primarily sold for concours judging.
