These are getting so hard to find without a broken drain cock or rust in the metal lips. The unit pictured here is typical of what you can expect when you buy out used complete box. Plan on repairing the drain cock or other minor cracks. All doors will be functional, we will not promise the evaporator is good and we do promise the heater core will be bad. We have a few single halves if you need the half without the drain cock. Two versions for 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Difference is the evaporator and the orientation of the tubes. Look for the triangle shaped rubber line seal for the later 1969-70 heater box with A/C. This box will have the lines parallel with the lines where the box splits. The unit you see pictured is typical of what you can expect in a 1969 with just a couple minor cracks in various places where screws have been over tightened and clips have been removed. If you can do fiberglass repair work we have many 1967-73 halves and completes starting at $50.
Heater core NOT INCLUDED.
Ford MPC # C9ZZ-19897-A for the upper half. Ford MPC # C9ZZ-19897-B for the lower half.
Check out our video below on how to replace a heater core! We used a '69 Cougar with A/C, but many of the same concepts apply to other years.
