    Description

Used heater and air conditioning box for late 1967 and 1968 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. These are getting so hard to find without a broken drain cock or rust in the metal lips. The unit pictured here is typical of what you can expect when you buy out used complete box. Plan on repairing the drain cock or other minor cracks. All doors will be functional, we will promise the evaporator is good and we do promise the heater core will be bad. We have a few single halves if you need the half without the drain cock. Soon we will have every single internal and external part from this assembly listed here, in the mean time give us a ring for those obscure parts! The unit you see pictured is typical of what you can expect in a 1967-73 halves and completes starting at $50.

    Heater core NOT INCLUDED.

Ford MPC # C8ZZ-19897-A for the upper half and Ford MPC # C8ZZ-19897-B for the lower half.

*NOTE* The Mercury MPC states that the complete case assembly will interchange in either 1967 or 1968, but, the two halves have to be both 1967 or 1968.

Check out our video below on how to replace a heater core on a '68 Cougar with A/C!

I received the right side exhaust manifold shortly after I ordered it. My 302 engine is coming along, so hopefully it may be ready to drop into my 1970 Maverick, which is very similar to my first 1970 Maverick that I had from 1970 to 1986, the...
