Description

This used brake pedal support bracket is the correct hanger for a 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with manual drum front brakes. If you have a manual transmission car with worn out clutch bushings, this is a great replacement part for you as it will have been removed from an automatic transmission equipped car. This means the clutch bushings will be in mint, unused condition.

Ford part # C7ZZ-6501508-C.

*NOTE* Manual brake supports are different. Manual brake supports have four threaded nuts swedged to the front section.

Really Needed this part

It was fantastic they had this part at such a good price. Mine was worn into a huge egg shape, and this definitely re-lit the fire for driving the cougar (no more brake pedal getting sticky) Was a bit of a pain to change out, mostly due to having to remove the instrument cluster and steering column, but the part itself couldn't have been easier to put together. They cleaned the part up pretty well and I received it quite quickly.

It was exactly what I needed... It fit right in (although changing it out was no easy task). Very well packaged and received quickly. Bushings looked brand new and there were no bends or warp to the metal.
