    Description

The function of this relay is to make only the center lights on each side illuminate when you activate the emergency warning flashers. Failure of this relay causes only the center sequential light to flash when using the turn signals. Trouble shooting these systems is takes time. A single bad ground at any portion of the turn signal circuit can cause no end to problems.
This unit is built into the 1967-68 Solid State Sequential Upgrade kit we sell so it is not needed if you are buying the all inclusive unit. This is a solid state unit and unlike the originals that have moving parts, this unit should never fail.

    Replaces Ford Part #: C7WY-10B926-A

*NOTE* This unit was originally installed to the bottom side of the black cardboard trunk filler on the driver side. Many owners have relocated it to the rubber board that the sequential unit is mounted to but that is not correct. Also know that this unit is eliminated when you purchase our new, all inclusive solid state turn signal unit.

**NOTE** Need help diagnosing a Cougar turn signal problem? Victor Yarberry is the world’s most knowledgeable expert on the subject. Vic has owned Cougars since the 1970's and is the designer of all of our solid state sequential systems. There is no question he cannot answer! Here is a link to a great source of information on the subject.

Here's our little video to show you some of the things to look for when buying a classic Cougar.

I got the emergency flasher in and immediately went to install it. After 5 minutes, I had sequencing tail lights again. It may not look exactly right, but it is under the filler panel and trunk mat anyway.

Easy fix for anyone who still has there older seqential motor and directional relay set-up. I didn't use this on my car but gave it to my brother to use on his "68 XR-7 and it fixed his flasher problem.

Why am I being warned about potential exposure to chemicals in motor vehicle parts?

    • When purchasing USED or NOS items, we do not know if listed chemicals are present in these products.
    • This product is known to contain the following listed chemicals:
WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...
