Product Condition Grades
Below is a general description of what the criteria is for our product condition grades. These are generalizations that are intended to give you an idea of the condition of the product at a quick glance. Because different parts degrade at different rates, there are variances in what the letters represent, please see the products description for details about the condition of any particular product.
A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality
D, E, F = Worse, Worser, Worsest
High Quality 400 PSI pump to valve return line. This is the control valve to the return hose that comes from the power steering pump on all big blocks and the 1969 and 70 small blocks, and will work for the 1967 or 1968 small blocks with the 5/16 inch control valve fitting if the power steering hoses are routed the same as on the big block engines. The big block routing is far superior to the original routing as the original routing was susceptible to rubbing against the exhaust manifold. This hose is an industrial high pressure hose that is much higher quality than those available by most Mustang / Cougar Parts Dealers.
Replaces Ford Part #: C6OZ-3A575-B or C7AZ-3A005-A.
Please Note: You can not use this hose with original hoses for the 1967 or 1968, as they were routed differently than the setup this hose works with. You will need to purchase both of the big block routed pressure hoses, both of the big block routed return hoses, and a big block power steering bracket to make this work.
