UK Customers / EU Customers

We are using a new shipping service where international shipments now include the Duties/Tax/Fees, so currently we can not offer USPS/Mail Innovations if the order is over 135GBP/150EUR, since USPS can not pay duties/taxes. If the order is less than 135GBP/150EUR, we can pay the taxes directly to the EU/UK and we can ship USPS/Mail Innovations*. All orders over 135GBP/150EUR have to ship UPS/DHL so we can use DDP to cover the Duties/Tax/Fees. This has allowed us to resume shipments of any value to the UK and EU.

TIP: You will likely be able to ship your order for less cost if you ship any items over 135GBP/150EUR on one order via UPS, then break the rest of the order up into orders of less than 135GBP/150EUR.

By breaking your orders up into less than 135GBP/150EUR:

you will avoid the import duties on those orders
less expensive shipping methods are available
you will avoid some UPS fees

Canadian Customers

We have worked with UPS to waive some of the brokerage fees. The rates shown now include all UPS fees. We have also added DHL, which offers lower cross boarder fees.

Our shipping provider has added Duties Prepaid options for US Postal Service options to Canada. This has allowed us to resume USPS shipments to Canada.

However, beware that this is a new process for the Post Office, so sometimes Canada Post shows the duties and taxes COD, when they are actually prepaid. If this happens, first inform Canada Post that the shipment was sent duties prepaid (DDP). If they still require you to pay the duties before delivery, please contact us.

US Postal Service (USPS)

Our new international shipping system supports international shipments via USPS only if the order total (including shipping to most countries) is below the Duty/Tax De Minimis for your country (View De Minimis Chart).
Exceptions:
UK orders upto 135GBP
EU orders upto 150EUR

The US Postal Service (USPS) has suspended services to over a dozen countries (see complete list).
UPS Worldwide Services \ DHL Worldwide can still be delivered to these locations.

Description

This kit is good for cowls with moderate to minimal rust. Easy to install on the driver side, but takes more effort on the passenger side especially if you have A/C. Another way to avoid doing expensive cowl repairs is to purchase our cowl cover.

This kit works really well. The instructions page is a little blurry but still helpful. Remember to seal the seam where the original sealer was applied. You need to reach up there with a pick or wire that has a small hook to it and get out what you can. Then use a flowable sealant to reapply the seal. With the extra sealant on the plastic pieces provided with the kit your leak will stop. You really need to get that whole heater box out of the way to do a good job. Mine has AC co it lead to a rebuild of heater AC box while I was there.

I lucked out and only had a small amount of rot on the drivers side. I was able to cut out the rot and install a piece of metal to replace what I removed and saved a ton of money to boot!! It is not a job for the timid, be prepared for whatever you find and be ready to address the problems and theses hats will complete the seal and are a perfect fit.
