Used hood release latch by itself, this is a component of the hood latch assembly for any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar.

The High tone is indicated in raised letters located on the perimeter of the horn. The 1971-73 almost uses the same horn and bracket as the 1967-68, but was mounted at a different angle, so if you have a 1971-73 you will need to loosen the screw that holds the horn to the bracket and rotate the horn to the correct position. Used to mate the headlight vacuum hoses together at the front cross beam under the core support. Notice it still has the remnant of green paint used to identify where the color coded hoses are to be placed. Cougar part number C7SZ-13A169-A.

This used original, color coded set of vacuum hoses is 100% complete and relatively pliable. It comes complete with decades of dirt and grime (patina) for no extra charge. If you want to remove the grime it will take some serious elbow grease but it can be done. Rechromed Grille Center Medallion for the 1967 and 1968 Mercury Cougar. Unfortunately the polishing and plating process will take away much of the detail. Cores must be pit free or very close to.
