This rechromed grille has had any minor cracks / brakes repaired and has been replated. You will need to apply detail paint.Like all of our rechromed parts, if you have exceptionally clean cores and have high standards you will want to send your cores in advance. This 14 piece grille package is only sold on an exchange basis and your cores must be received before we can ship. Often times a minor crack or two in the center grille or corner marker bezels can be repaired at no extra cost. Cores cannot show excessive pitting. We do give in-store credit for extra parts sent, call before you send to see if they are eligible. If you are in question on whether your cores are acceptable for exchange, emailing us several pictures is a good idea.

Used headlight wiring harness for either side of the Mercury Cougar. This harness is the sub-harness that connects your headlights to the under hood harness. The Cougar uses one per side and they are identical. Sold individually.Ford part # D1WY-13076-A.

This is the large horizontal bracket that reinforces the front bumper on any 1971-72 Mercury Cougar. This is one of 6 brackets needed for mounting the front bumper. These were bare steel and some of our used brackets will have some erosion or minor rust. Structurally they are fine. Replaces Ford part number D1WY-17A792-A.

The High tone is indicated in raised letters located on the perimeter of the horn. The 1971-73 almost uses the same horn and bracket as the 1967-68, but was mounted at a different angle, so if you have a 1971-73 you will need to loosen the screw that holds the horn to the bracket and rotate the horn to the correct position.  These horns are close but not actually correct for a Cougar. 1967-68 Cougars used part number C7WF-13802-B Lo / C7WF-13801-B Hi and 1971-73 used D0DF-13802-A Lo /...

These hard rubber bump strips attach to the front bumper guards with 2 studs from the back side. Extreme care is needed prior to attempting to remove them. If you force the nut from the backside you will dislodge the stud from the rubber. For best results use a small wire brush on the studs first and soak liberally with a product like PB Blaster. Used chrome moulding that attaches horizontally to the bottom of the headlight bucket. Driver side for any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar. 1973 used a different casting number but the parts are exactly the same. A grade will have nice chrome, and maybe one minor blemish.
