This aluminum backed, tar sound deadener with adhesive is approximately 1/16 of an inch thick and works well behind door panels, at the firewall and under the headliner as a sound, heat and vapor barrier. Reproduction trunk wheel house seam cover for the Ford Mustang. I have actually never seen an original pair of these on a car, but they do serve a purpose if you are in the habit of cramming your trunk full of items you do not want scratched.
