Welded in hooked retainer for the rear seat back installation on any 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang coupe or hard top body style. This bracket welds to the edge of the package tray. Exact replacement inside door handle nut, trunk lock nut, and hood scoop nut. Same finish as originals. 10 of these are used to mount the 68-71 hood scoop found on the 68 428 CJ, 69-70 Eliminator, 69-70 428 Ram Air equipped Cougars and 71 GT and 429CJ. For all 1969 Mercury Cougar trunks. The MPC lists the correct length as 8-3/4 inches in total length, with 4 inches of the end being threaded but we have found without fail them to be about 10 3/4" with about 3" of threads. I say "about because some have a blunt end while other versions have a tappered end which will add about 1/8" to the length. Those threads are 1/2-13.
