This is the rubber that goes into the bracket of the bottom of the center of the door, for 1970 bolt-in door glass.  Note that this bumper is substantially taller than the 69 version. See C9ZZ-6521762-A for the 1969 glued-in door glass version. If you are swapping out a door on a 69 or a 70 don't forget that the door glass is different between the years and, if you have to swap out the glass, you will need to make sure you have the correct version of this part for the type of glass...

Grade "A" doors have never been dented in, cracked in the door latch area or rusted in the corners. When you turn it over and inspect it, the seam it is not expanding from the inside out due to rust. There are no drilled holes for an after market impact strip and the sound deadener is still intact. Occasionally it will still bear the original paint but do expect multiple small door dings. This is the best condition Western door you could ever hope to find, no excuses, satisfaction guaranteed....

You may consider buying our grade "B" door over our grade "A" door if you are doing a high end restoration. Here is the reasoning; due to the design of the 69-70 door, silt is trapped in all of the door corners, these tight recesses always have silt collected in them and when you add moisture you get corrosion. Our grade "A" doors do not have noticeable blisters but since there is no paint or sound deadener in the depths of the corners we know there is some amount of corrosion taking place...

Unfortunately, Scott Drake got bought by Holley Performance, and Holley decided to stop making these. Yes, these were a dealer option available in the day. They cover the painted portion of your door sill that is not covered by the scuff plate. Great way to prevent scratches in your paint or hide existing scratches. Ford never made these in stainless but what a great upgrade! The advantage we see with these is that they do not dent or scratch as easy when you release your seat belt. These correct floor pan patches are for the 1969-70 convertible and do not have drain plugs like the 1967-68 panels. These are made from a really rigid steel and do not easily bend or dent easily like many of the offshore pans you find on the market. These 20 gauge panels are 24" long and 15 1/4" wide.
