Looped weld in retainer for the rear seat installation on any 1967-70 Mercury Cougar. This is the front bracket that holds in the rear seat and was used on both coupes and convertibles. We cut out a section of the floor under the rear seat as shown. Make good measurements prior to removal of your old brackets. We think that the Ford number is C5AZ-6263370-B, but we have not been able to verify this for certain. Gasket used to seal the lock cylinders to the exterior door on all 1967 - 1973 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang as well as the trunk lock gasket on all 1969-73 Mercury Cougar. It is not used for the trunk lock cylinder on the 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar because they uses a flip up trunk lock cover that instead uses a gasket between the covers housing and the trunk.
