New torque converter nuts for connecting torque converters to flex plates on 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or 1967-73 Ford Mustang or other Ford Lincoln Mercury that is not metric. 3/8-24 threads, Grade 8 nut with a 9/16 inch hex. 0.79" OD and 0.39" thick. Used flexplate reinforcing ring, Ford called it a fly wheel reinforcing plate. Fits all Ford small block engines including 260, 289, 302, 351W and 351C. Strengthens the area where the automatic transmission flex plate mounts to the crankshaft. This is not just a ring with 6 holes in it, it is indexed specifically for the flex plate and only goes on one specific way. It has to be indexed because of the weight on the flex plate. Tall style filter for C4 transmissions.  Fits all Ford C4 transmissions for any 1966-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with that W code C-4 transmission. This is designated as the 'tall' filter, introduced in 1965. I guess that Ford installed a deeper pan in 1965? Solid metal construction with filter inside.

Quality built new automatic transmission flex plate for all 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 289/302 engines and C-4 automatic transmissions. Looks identical to the OEM Ford plates, has new starter ring installed. Has the correct 28oz. weight for vintage 289/302 engines. The 5.0 liter engines used a 50oz. imbalance.
