Used on 289 / 302 / 351W / 390 / 428CJ pedestals from 1967 - 1973. Stud is threaded into the cylinder head for easy installation of the cast iron pedestal bracket.*Note - Excludes 351C and 429CJ.

Used cast iron pedestal mount for the A/C compressor for Cougars and Mustangs produced after 1/3/1967. This bracket was utilized throughout the entire 1968 model year and is also listed as the service replacement part for the early mounting bracket.  Ford part # C7AA-2882-L, MPC # C7AZ-2882-G.

Cast iron pedestal mount for the air conditioning compressor on all 1967 and 1968 cars with 390-2V, 390-4V, or 428CJ FE engines. Mercury and Ford master part number C7ZZ-2882-A, we suspect that this is an error in our 1975 editions of the MPC's. C7SZ-2882-A is what we suspect is the correct number.
