C9OF-9600-H Late production 1969 Q code 428 Cobra Jet non-ram air engine air cleaner base. For those cars built after 2/17/1969. Identified with the addition of a small vent fitting and strap for vent hose on bottom. Unique 1969 air cleaner base with a rectangular vacuum actuated valve on the drivers side. About 16-3/8" inches in diameter. Ford part number C9OZ-9600-H.

D1WF-9600-AA Air cleaner base for all 1971 J code 429 Cobra Jet ram air engines. *Note - Not the same as the J code Mustang Ram Air - air cleaner base. Could also be found with casting number D1WF-9600-BA or D1WF-9600-BB.

Used air cleaner lid for all 1973 H code 351-2V engines. About 14.75 inches in diameter. Ford part number for the air cleaner assembly is D3ZZ-9600-A. The air cleaner lid by itself doesn't have a number. lid will be in comparable condition to picture shown.

Chrome air cleaner lid removed from a Q code, 351-4V or 351CJ 1972 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang, likely Torino and Mercury mid sized cars too. Ford / Mercury have had various part numbers listed for this basic lid over the years. The primary difference was the original lids included an engine size sticker. That is why there are so many listings, the basic part number is 9661. Chrome will be used, and will have some defects to the plating.

This lid is about 16-3/4 inch in diameter. Identified by the spokes in the stamping. 1967 and 1969 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with S code 390-4V engines. Additionally this lid was used on 1969-70 Q code 428CJ or non-ram air Cougars and Mustangs. We believe that this lid was also found on Boss 302 Eliminators. This is a 1969 lid. The 1968 lid had several differences, most notable was the stamping wrinkles. This is  Flapper mid plate for use on non-shaker cars. 1969-70 Mercury Cougar with R or Q code engine with ram air. 1969 Mercury mid sized cars such as Montego, and Cyclone all with R code 428CJ or SCJ engines. This vacuum actuated door assembly was used on several performance motors without Ram Air. When extra air was needed under heavy acceleration the vacuum actuator opened the door on the side of the air cleaner base. The actuator on this unit needs to be rebuilt so this is considered a good core only.
