This unit can go to either the courtesy "C" pillar lights, the emergency brake warning relay, the circuit breaker for the license plate light, or either side of the front marker lights. This is part of the 14401 main under dash wiring harness.

Used wiring pigtails for the ignition switch and ignition system of the standard Mercury Cougar. One pigtail plugs into the back of the ignition switch and the other goes through the firewall and connects to the main under hood wiring harness. These pigtails also have the pink resistance wire intact which runs between the two pigtails.  DO NOT cut or splice into this wire, it's resistance is dependent upon it's UNCUT length.

This is part of the 14401 main under dash wiring harness.*NOTE* The blue/red to yellow/black wire is for the radio feed. The only difference between the early and late harnesses, is the early harness has an extra blue wire.
