    1 Cougar Applications

    Description

This intermediate OE-style steel line attaches to the transmission tunnel and connects the brass distribution block in the front to the flexible brake hose in the rear of the car. Application does not change if the front is drum or disc in the front, all Cougars 1967-1973 came with drum in the back.

Not for Mustang as the Mustang had a shorter wheel base than Cougar.

Line is too long to economically be shipped without bending it over, carefully straighten it out prior to installation.

Intermediate Brake Lines are the lines running from the front of the car to the back feeding your rear brakes. These lines will run along your chassis all the way back to the rear brake drop hose. All lines come Pre-Bent and flared with the correct threaded fittings which reduces your install time tremendously. Our mild steel lines are Galphan coated for added protection.

    Pros:
    Cons:

purchased this brake line thinking everything would be good. Comes with wrong size brake fittings. I did not notice until I installed the brake line which was a pain. Now I need to cut both fittings off and put the proper size ones on. Might as well make your own knowing you have the right fittings.

    WCCC Response:

We have sold quite a few of these lines, and this is the only time anyone has reported this issue.  This makes us suspect either a one-off manufacturing issue or this customer car may have the 69 rear end.
