Product Condition Grades
Below is a general description of what the criteria is for our product condition grades. These are generalizations that are intended to give you an idea of the condition of the product at a quick glance. Because different parts degrade at different rates, there are variances in what the letters represent, please see the products description for details about the condition of any particular product.
A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality
D, E, F = Worse, Worser, Worsest
These XR7 door pull straps have a steel core as original but the exterior is rubber, not vinyl like the originals. The stitching looks like it is authentic! Unfortunately the red and white (natural) pull straps offered are not a good color match to the originals...Painting these straps is not a permanent solution due to the constant use they get. If you choose to close your door via the arm rest rather than the strap then painting would be a reasonable option. These are very durable straps and the detail is good on the front side.
*NOTE* These same pull straps were used on multiple full size two and four door Lincolns and Mercurys. Often you can find reasonably priced pristine examples from the rear doors on four door models. These are sold individually. Original part number C9MB-5426656 or DOMB-5426656.
