    Description

You may consider buying our grade "B" door over our grade "A" door if you are doing a high end restoration. Here is the reasoning; due to the design of the 69-70 door, silt is trapped in all of the door corners, these tight recesses always have silt collected in them and when you add moisture you get corrosion. Our grade "A" doors do not have noticeable blisters but since there is no paint or sound deadener in the depths of the corners we know there is some amount of corrosion taking place that may "blister" in the future. We suggest buying a grade "B" door with minor blisters in the corners so you can clean out this area 100%, weld in a small patch, fill it with a product like POR-15 and never worry about it blistering your $10000 paint job in the future. Our Grade "B" doors do not have rust through in the shell, just the skin. We probe aggressively with an awl under the weatherstrip and all along the bottom seam where they will often expand with rust. Grade B doors have multiple dings, small dents and potentially some filler from previous work. Since this is an expensive item with damage we are willing to send pictures prior to us shipping out your door. Sometimes we have to adjust the price up or down depending on the level of damage present.

NOTE! The pictures shown here are file photos from doors we have sold in the past and is not the actual door or color you will receive. Please email or call for current conditions of stock on hand.

NOTE: One small difference between 69 - 70 driver side doors is that the 69 doors will have 2 extra holes from the door tag rivets.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...

My 1971 Cougar XR7 was retrofitted with a Ford “400”, Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb, TCI Street Fighter trans, B & M Hammer shifter, and dual turbo exhaust. While this sounds interesting, the Cougar itself was seriously neglected and...

WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...

What did you LIKE about your experience? * : I am fairly new to WCCC, four or five orders (at the time of writing), but I am blessed to have found WCCC for sure. I had a small problem, couldn't find anything to work for the condensation drain on my...
