    This is a very specialized screw that you do not want to fail or make do with an incorrect fitting or stripped screw. When removing your old screw you will most likely have to pull your pedal assembly and have a perfect fitting screw driver to remove the screw as the factory put them in very tight!

    This is a really snug fit - tight without needing to apply force. My old one was partially stripped so I guess a previous owner thought they needed 100 ft/lbs. Just guessing, but I think 25 ft/lbs is plenty. It's not going to fall out!
