NOTE: WE SUGGEST LOCAL PICK UP ONLY FOR CORE ENGINE BLOCKS BECAUSE WE CANNOT GUARANTEE BLOCKS WILL NOT HAVE CRACKS INTERNALLY.
Long block, factory H code 351-2V V-8 engine. 351 Windsor engine rated at 250 Hp with 9.5:1 compression ratio in 1970. Likely 0.030" bored motor that may or may not have been in running condition when pulled. Guaranteed to be rebuildable. Complete engine less carburetor, distributor, exhaust manifolds, fan, accessories, pulleys, and flex plate. Intake manifold and oil pan are included but oil pan will be in poor condition. We would be happy to try to match your build date. However, date matching all components, i.e. cylinder heads, intakes, and blocks will likely not happen often.
1970 Windsor engines used a later water pump configuration to use the Cleveland style radiator. Most of our engines originally came with an automatic transmission, in some cases these blocks will not have the tapped hole for the manual transmission Z-bar bracket. Carburetors, distributors, fans, accessories, and pulleys are available separately. Many different combinations of pulleys and brackets depend upon things such as air conditioning and power steering.
