This is a very hard-to-find, one-year manual transmission die cast insert used on both the Mustang and Standard/Decor level interiors on the Cougar. Whereas the plastic console base and pad it attaches to can easily be modified from automatic to manual configuration, this insert cannot. Note: This Grade A example has very minor pitting.
