Premium quality original FORD valve that has been re-manufactured to original tolerances. Quality part that is rebuilt by a true craftsman here in the USA. Now rebuilt with upgraded concours components. Fasteners and clamp have correct style details, like OEM Ford supplied power steering control valves. 1967 generally have this small nut or 1/4 inch line fittings. By 1968, that size fitting had increased to 5/16 inch for strength. Please inspect your line size to the power steering pump, not the ram cylinder, thank you. Core charge and / or core exchange required.
*NOTE: Our rebuilt and reproduction control valves all come pre-lubed with the correct amount of grease. If out of the box you add more grease, you will damage the valve. Unlike some suspension parts these are not designed to add grease until you see the grease coming out of the seal. Our warranty does not cover over lubricating. Rule of thumb on these is 'one pump' every other oil change. Please do not force grease through the seal!
Core return must be an original Bendix unit.
Only use Type F power steering fluid in your P/S reservoir.
Do not use a pickle fork to remove the control valve from the Pitman Arm. Damage will result to the ball stud housing. Please use the correct tool like a ball joint removal tool.
