    Many used items in our pictures have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. 

    The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. 

    We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

    "Core" Items:
     If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

    Bare outer tube for the 1968 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang fixed steering column. There were two versions of this outer steering column. The Ford MPC indicates that the -A version was made from 0.060" tubing, -C version from 0.072" tubing. We don't differentiate between the two, we have a limited number of tubes available. This 1968 fixed outer tube is very similar to the 1969 fixed outer tube, the oval slit on this 1968 tube is 1-5/8", as opposed to the 1969 slits, which are 1-7/8".

    This item will likely have some amount of surface rust. Plan on sanding priming and painting. Keep in mind that these tubes are year specific.
