    Grade A used Exhaust manifold head shield for all 1972 - 1973 351C 2V or 4V engines. The outer shield section is common to both 2V and 4V 1972 - 1973 engines. This is for the outer shield only. Grade A will be solid steel, but will most likely have some pitting in the surface. These were never completely painted, the bare steel would always be subject to some moisture.

    There is a specific inner shield for the 351C-2V and the 351C-4V engines. We suggest that for normal driving that the inner part not be installed to help prevent heat soak and eventual cracking of the passenger side exhaust manifold. This is very common problem due to heat build up.
