This product is an NOS Part.
NOS items are OEM parts from Ford that have been sitting on shelves or in warehouses for years. These are often great examples of the orignal parts, but they may have scratches or other shelf wear.
However be aware that some NOS parts are "service replacement" parts. "Service replacement" parts are not exact replacements of the parts that were installed at the factory, but are what Ford considered as "good enough" and were used at Ford dealerships after the original supply of parts was exhausted.

NOS Wiring pigtail for the low fuel sending units on 1971-72 Mercury Cougar XR7 and standard models with low fuel warning light. The Safety Convenience Package included a low fuel warning light. This pigtail has three wires which attaches to the three prongs on the D1WF-9275-AC low fuel sending units. Ford part number is D1WB-14406-B or D1WY-14406-B.
*Note - Standard cars without low fuel sending units have two prongs and two wires on the detachable pigtail. 1973 is also different, it has moulded rubber blocks for mounting to the body.
