1972 Ford Mustang

Used single bolt for attaching door and quarter window regulators on any 1969-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang or Ford anything most likely. Sold individually, Ford part number 57487-S.

Bolt and nut for the clamping the coil into the coil bracket as found in 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Fits all of the various coil brackets used 1967-73 on most all Ford engines. This is a 8-32x1-1/2, 1/4 hex headed fine thread bolt and nut.  This is not the round headed slotted screw type that Ford also used.

Two needed per installation, sold individually. This is a 3/8-16 square neck bolt and nut. Ford part number 384527-S2.

Bolt kit for installing front sway bar clamps to the body for any 1969-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. 5/16" bolts for 1969-73 cars. Starting in 1969, the bolt size was changed from 3/8" to 5/16". We stock the 3/8" bolt kits, which was standard for 1967-68 cars. See related items.

This is the storage bag that the convertible top cover folds into when the top is in the down position. Ford calls this part the "Folding top dust hood container." It is made from common vinyl top material and is always black. It measures 15"x27" and the bottom portion is sometimes, tapered down to 8". The same design was used for many Ford Products of the day including Torino, Montego and others. Current offering does not have a tapered bottom, it is square. Pictures will show both styles...

Rear most convertible top bow #4, from a 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang convertible top assembly. This is the last bow and would have had a tack strip attached.   Ford part number D1ZZ-7651278-A.

Used mounting bracket from a 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with factory installed air conditioning. This is the tab that is riveted to the blower housing, the stud goes through the firewall. Bracket with stud only, no other hardware included. Normally this will ship with the old fiberglass remnants still riveted to this bracket. 

This bracket connects the battery hold down clamp to the fender apron to stop the battery from rocking from side to side. Most cars are missing this crucial part to stabilize the battery. Replaces Ford Part #: D0OZ-10757-A.

Used bracket for installing the rear interior panels on any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang convertible. One bracket per side. These brackets will have a bit of dirt and or rust on them, originally painted chassis black. Replaces Ford part number D1ZZ-76310A84-A. 

Dash mounting speaker bracket for any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Typical with single center mounted in-dash speaker with AM radio.Ford part number D1ZA-19A054.

Used bracket for mounting the bottom of the quarter window guide to the car body. Fits all 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang coupe and convertible (non fastback). "L" shaped bracket that designed for mounting and adjusting the rear quarter window.Replaces Ford part number D1ZZ-65298A56.

D0AZ-3A732-C Stamped steel bracket for mounting the power steering pump. Ford called this bracket the 'power steering pump adjusting bracket'. For any factory air conditioned or non-air conditioned 1971 - 1973 Cougar or Mustang with 351 engines, additionally used on Mustangs with the F code 302 V8 engines.

Used driver side bracket for mounting the quarter window glass. Fits all 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang coupe and convertible (non fastback). Bracket ships as shown, no installation hardware included. Guide rollers sold separately. Replaces Ford part number D1ZZ-65305A03-A.

Used brake hose support bracket for all 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. This attaches with two bolts to the driver side rear frame rail, it supports the flexible brake hose that goes to the rear axle. Ford had two versions of this part, picture shows the early version, later versions had a chunk cut off of the corner. Replaces Ford part number D1ZZ-2073-A, and D1WY-2073-A.

Used bracket for mounting the steering column to the instrument panel on any 1972-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Main bracket only, there is also a hooped support bracket that is also needed. Tilt and fixed steering columns. Bracket also used on 1971 full sized Ford and Mercury cars.  Ford part number D1AZ-3676-A.
