Used Driver Side / Right Side Fender Extension Emblem for the 1967 and 1968 Mercury Cougar

These were on the lower rear portion of early 1967 390 GT Cougar fenders. In later 67 and 68 the separate G and T letters were used on the Mercury Cougar. The 1967 XR7 did not have rocker panel mouldings as did the 1968 - 1973 XR7 Cougars. All 1967 XR7 models came equipped with these "Hash" marks fastened to the rear of both rockers, at a rear tilting angle. Both sides received seven ribs, held by two Phillips screws each for a total of fourteen ribs in all. Used Grade A condition 6.5 litre (390) aluminum fender emblem / badge for the 1967 Mercury Cougar. We rarely get these in fantastic condition and most of what we get looks like the one pictured with several small blemishes. Reproduction Center Grille Insert Background Decal for the 1967 and 1968 Mercury Cougar. This decal was used on the Standard model Mercury Cougar for 1968 and both the XR7 and Standard model Mercury Cougar for 1967. Will require slight trimming for perfect fit. This is the correct size walking cat decal for your eyelid door on the 1967 - 1969 Cougar. It has the studs in the exact place as the originals. Used aluminum "Mercury Man" head for the center grille medallion. These are just pressed and swedged into the die cast bezel and come out easily with a light tap from behind. Yes, these were a dealer option available in the day. They cover the painted portion of your door sill that is not covered by the scuff plate. Great way to prevent scratches in your paint or hide existing scratches. Since they are made from stainless steel, you can polish them if and when they get scratched. These are sold as a pair, left is the same as right.  Ford part # C5ZZ-6513242-A 

Fits all Mustangs, Cougars, Fords 65-70. Attaches the striker on the door pillar, the big screws. Little known fact: these aren't Phillips head screws, they are actually Pozi head / Pozi-Driv screws. While you can usually get a large Phillips screwdriver to work, the correct tool for these fasteners is a size 4 Pozi bit.

This area of the door often cracks due to the stress caused by worn out hinges. This twelve piece kit includes six screws and six form fitting washers to reinforce the recessed areas that often crack. If your latch area is badly cracked you will want to purchase the repair kit that requires being welded in.

These are the screws that secure the door latch mechanism to the door shell. These screws come with the attached crown headed lock washer, just like the originals, so be sure to tighten them down snugly to ensure that the screw head sits flush into the screw holes. Sold individually. Three required per door, six per car.
