Hot idle compensator valve assembly for many Ford engines with PCV, starting in 1964 through early 1968. Typically found on 1964-66 Ford 260-2V, and 289-2 engines with air conditioning. 1967-68 289-2V, 302-2V and some 390 engines all with air conditioning and PCV or closed emissions. The Ford assembly manual indicates that the Hot Idle Compensator Valve 'T' Assembly, was installed by removing 3/4 inches of the PCV hose, 2-1/4 inches (on center of the PCV valve). Used ash tray for the 1967 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This unit will come as taken from a Western parts car. Original FoMoCo construction, built to last. There is a slight difference between the 1967 and 1968 dash openings for these ashtrays. This 1967 ashtray painted face, measures 7-1/8 inches long. The 1968 version is 6-13/16 inches long measured with a flexible ruler.Replaces Ford part # C7ZB-6504810.

Used cigar / cigarette lighter and ashtray mounting bracket. Mounts behind the dash on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Holds the cigar or cigarette lighter element, and the ashtray receptacle. 

This used part comes carefully cut from a parts car and will include all mounting tabs. It is slightly different from the Mustang version as it has a different contour where the dash pad attaches. AC and no AC are the same, but 67 and 68 differ slightly in height of the area where the ashtray is installed.  

This knob set differs from the set used later in 1967 only in that the outer knob has a lower profile head. Keep in mind we have reproduction knobs that will work in place of these.

This is one of the easier knobs to find in that it does not break easily and can be found on many 1967 FoMoCo products. Rare radio knob used only on the 1967 XR7 and standard Cougar console. This knob differs from the Mustang console and Cougar / Mustang non console knob in that it is deeper to clear the console pad that is unique to the 1967 Mercury Cougar. Early standard model Cougars with the console used a more petite version of this plastic knob. Replaces part # C7WA-18817-B

This white plastic spacer fits into the back of the right hand inner knob on cars without factory fader or balance. If your inner knob is loose and will not align, you will want to see if this part is in place. 1968-70 AM-FM radios would not utilize this part because they have a balance feature. 1967 AM-FM radios would use this part as they did not have a balance feature. This plate attaches the 3/8" steel fuel line under the driver's side rear torque box, as it makes its way from the rear frame rail out to the rocker area. It acts both as a mount and as a protector from road debris. These were used on late 1967 to 1968 Cougars and Mustang with the 3/8" fuel line. Early 1967 cars had smaller 5/16" fuel line, and different routing (through the transmission tunnel), and did not use this part. Mounting bolts included.

The early Cougars had a lower profile head on the outer knob. It is assumed they beefed up the design in early in the year because the knobs were easily broken. These delicate plastic knobs are very hard to find in this condition. Only the utmost purist would care to obtain a trivial detail part such as these to make their car correct.
