NOS Standard seat belt retractor including bolts and a huge 44" x 33 1/2" Ford seat belt diagram in FoMoCo box and never installed on a car. Standard belts can be identified in 1967 by the plastic lift up female buckle. Deluxe belts are identified by the metal female buckle that are released by a center button. Used on all four 1967 belts for a total of 8 per car. Found to be slightly dished on most examples we see.

AMK seat belt washer B-13023. 0.46" ID x 1.25" OD zinc flat washer. Sized so that it rides on the shoulder of the seat belt bolts. It allows the retractor to rotate freely between this washer and the head of the seat belt bolt on 1969-73 cars. Two required per car, used only on the re-tractors.

Often you will see minor irregularities in these washers. These would be considered "blems". Two required per car, used only on the re-tractors.

These spacer / washers were used on the rear belts of 1968 - 1973 Cougars. 1968 used two per bolt for a total of eight, 69-71 used one per rear belt for a total of four and 72-73 used one per belt on the inner only as the outer belts had a re-tractor in the rear 72-73. They were red to guide the line workers on placement.

Reproduction pair of black seat belt buckle bezels for the Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang, or Ford Torino. It is little details like these that often make the difference between first and second place at the show. 

Front retractor bolt, used in conjunction with two rubber spacer / washers and one washer. The two rubber washers go on either side of the re-tractor mounting hole and the metal washer is against the inner rocker.

Rear seat belt bolt, four per car used in conjunction with two red washer / spacers. 13/16" hex head, 1-1/4 inch bolt with a 3/16 inch shoulder. Can be either smooth headed or have a Heavy or Light "A". There is another version of this same bolt with a smooth head and no markings.

Both deluxe and standard use the same retractor in 1968 - 1969 and left is the same design as right. Grade "A" retractors will show no fading or cracks on the holster / retractor cover, good chrome buckle and may even still have the date code tag sewn in place. This is a 100% complete, functional set taken from multiple 1967 Mercury Cougars. Often it takes 2-3 cars to put together one set, decent driver quality set as the driver side will often show excessive wear and other belts can be rusted or missing. This is a complete set of Deluxe (chrome bands on buckles) safety belts removed from a 1969 hardtop minus torx bolt hardware. Used plastic sheath that covers the bolted buckle end of where your shoulder belt attaches to the roof section of your car. Sometimes when removing the bolt from your shoulder belt, this sheath will tear if the plastic has become stiffened. If you want to install factory shoulder belts on your 1967 Cougar or Mustang, you need to install these shoulder belt brackets. It's a threaded block inserted into the clip that holds it in place. 67 Cougars and Mustangs didn't come with shoulder belts, but the raised area where these brackets attach is still present.
