This air cleaner was used on the 1967 GT Cougar only. It was possible to order a 390 GT motor for your Cougar without ordering the 390 GT package. Cougars equipped with the 390 6.5 Litre engine that did not come with the GT package would have used the air cleaner with a long tapered snorkel and painted lid. Each of these great kits include all three required cables, including part numbers, proper terminal and post clamp ends. Starter cables are properly shielded from heat. Standard Draw pictured above, High Draw pictured to the left. The originals were either 43-55 Amp (Standard) Draw or 65-70 Amp (High) Draw. We recommend going with the High Draw.
