Many used items in our pictures have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail.
The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.
We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.
"Core" Items:
If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt. The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.
Dark Ivy Gold / Dark Green grade A mirror assembly with re-silvered lens. This is the early rubber version that is big and bulky with a twist knob for the day / night feature. Found on early 1967 cars, later cars used a smaller mirror with either a twist or lever for the 'Day/Night' function.
We also sell re-silvered lenses by themselves on an exchange basis. Sold outright, no core required.
In our observations 1967 Mercury Cougar XR7's were all black colored. Ford documentation lists possible part numbers of C7AB-17702 and C7AZ-17700.
