I know that many people like to keep their Cougars as original as possible. If that is you, that's great, but then this steering is not for you. However, if your OE steering wheel is broken beyond repair like mine was, then this wheel offers you a chance to chance to change the look of your car's interior and get a little more comfort in while you are at it. It is easy to install and looks great. As far as correctness goes, it is NOT an OE replica, but I found it to be exactly correct for what I was looking for. The Walking Cat logo decal for the center of the horn button was the cherry on top to complete the look. Could not be happier with this replacement.
