This listing is for the momentary rocker switch that operates the power sunroof on the 1968 XR7G and is located in the center console. This is actually not the correct switch as you will notice by the pin / wire configuration on the back. This "substitute" switch was taken from another model from the day such as the Lincoln Mark III rear seat quarter window switch.

1968 Cougars equipped with a power sunroof that were not an XR7G utilized the power top switch from a 1968 Mustang convertible.
You will receive either of the two style "other" switches, whether it be the switch with pins or the switch with wire leads. Although they will both work, this is merely an easy work around fix and installation is solely up to you.
