This reproduction tape is a must for anyone replacing their stainless steel window trim pieces on the 1967 - 1968 Cougar or Mustang. Can be used on any of the side windows. We suggest saving the original quarter window rubber surround if possible, due to the curves, but this tape can be used there as well if needed. This glass setting tape is designed to look and perform similarly to the original Ford factory material. It creates a water tight bond as well as cushions the vent glass inside the trim. Simply fold tape over the glass edge and slide into the frame. It's wider than needed, so it's trimmed with a knife after installation.
This product is not made specifically for the Cougar/Mustang, but it is very close to what was originally used. You will need to measure what you need, and purchase the needed length.
Comes in a 20' roll - 1 1/2" wide x 1/16" thick.
