NOS items are OEM parts from Ford that have been sitting on shelves or in warehouses for years. These are often great examples of the orignal parts, but they may have scratches or other shelf wear.
However be aware that some NOS parts are "service replacement" parts. "Service replacement" parts are not exact replacements of the parts that were installed at the factory, but are what Ford considered as "good enough" and were used at Ford dealerships after the original supply of parts was exhausted.

NOS XR7 hubcap / wheel cover for the Mercury Cougar. This wheel cover was used on the XR7 and it can also be found on Ford Mavericks but with a different center medallion.
Ford part # D1WY-1130-E. The engineering number as seen on a decal on the back reads D1WA-1130-EB.
This is the same cap as found on the 1973 - 1977 Ford Maverick. The Maverick has a different plastic center and carries a Ford part number of D3DA-1130-A
