1967 - 1971 Ford power steering pump dipstick. Used until 2-8-1971.

Used 3/8-16 x 41/64"  carriage bolt for the shock tower shock cap. Three bolts used on each cap, 6 total per car. Sold individually. *Note - Carriage bolt detail cleaned for the picture, actual part will need a clean up on a wire wheel.Replaces Ford part number 378535-S2.

New castle nut for all power steering control valve ball stud found on 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. 3/4 inch hex nut, with 1/2-20 threads. Connects the Pitman arm to the ball stud on the P/S control valve. Don't forget the cotter pin. Verify your shop manual for correct year torque specifications. We found one source of 28-35 FT LBS. for the Pitman Arm nut to control valve. Ford numbers for attaching nut: 1967-68 351059-S, 1969-70 385002-S.

This one in, one out design was unique to the early 1967 Cougar for the headlights. Also found on vacuum controlled options like the 1967 Mustang Cougar tilt / tilt-away steering column. This is a good used unit that has been tested and found to hold vacuum well. This valve is located a few inches behind the carburetor.

This complete four piece kit is for any small block 289, 302, or 351 Windsor Cougar 1967, 1968 and 1969. 

This complete four part kit is correct for any 1967-68 small block 289 or 302, and 351 Windsor Mercury Cougar or Ford anything 1967, 1968 and 1969. Used aluminum pump mounting bracket, front adjusting bracket with large hole, pivot stud, and nut.If you do not have a air conditioning you will need a spacer in place of the round spacer shown. If you have the 351 Windsor without A/C, you will need a the rectangular spacer which is sold separately.

This unit was used only one year on the Cougar and is unique because of its smaller fitting (1/4") for the pressure hose. Many 1967 Cougars have been converted to the 1968 valve over the years so you may want to double check your valve before ordering. We highly recommend upgrading to the large nut (5/16") control valve as the small nut control valve posses a potential safety issue, thus the reason why Ford replaced it the following year. Fine thread lock nut used in various places on old Fords, including the differential housing, 1967 disc brake assemblies, and more. Replaces Ford part # 34445-S

Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear ends. Phosphate and oil coated with thread sealer. These are one time only nuts. They should not be reused per Ford. Replaces Ford part #: 371518-S

Reproduction power steering drop bracket for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. One must use this part when installing headers with power steering.  Because of the way this bracket hangs down, it will get bumped and bumped hard in time. Becasue of this we recommend considerning our premuim version of this bracket, as it is substantially stronger.

Installation of this bracket is easy but you will have to make a spacer to fit on the outside of the frame rail. Hopefully you bought this bracket first before you tore out the nut inserts in the frame. If not you will need to get them up for now. Then tap the bracket toward the the outside of the car and make sure the cross bolt lines up. Then measure the gap and make a spacer to fit. A half inch nut and a couple of washers usually work just fine. It's not necessary to get fancy with this...
