    Cons:
    • Must work fast
I think the 1970 "bolt in window" mod is over-rated as people are intimidated by what is a straight-forward repair to a bolt in window. Watch Don's video and follow his instructions carefully. What have you got to loose? Yes, try to avoid using in extreme temperatures as it will set up fast in high temps. This stuff cures hard as steel, so I suspect it will hold up for a few decades.

    Pros:
    • Excellent Product for the Job
    Cons:
    • Sets very fast
Does a great job! However, if it's hot outside this stuff will set real fast! Before use, throw it in the fridge, should help slow it down. Also, the applicator nozzle mixes the two parts together and will turn into a rock once the adhesive sets.......buy a couple of spares.....

The adhesive worked well. The video was very helpful and encouraged me to bond the window in place with out disassembling all of the window channel and drive hardware. I purchased the $40 special gun which fit into the window channel and was simpler than building the one in the video. I checked pricing locally and WCCC price was competitive even with shipping.

    Question
    Lance1969 Asked:
After using this & having a significant amount left over for a future project, maybe years later, will it "keep" or will it harden in time?
    March 18, 2022 9:16 AM
    Answer
    WCCC Admin Answered:
It will likely harden over time. If you have a vacuum sealer (like for food), vacuum sealing it should keep it fresh as air is what will make it harden.

Why am I being warned about potential exposure to chemicals in motor vehicle parts?

    • Some chemicals in motor vehicle parts are on the Proposition 65 list because they can cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
    • When purchasing USED or NOS items, we do not know if listed chemicals are present in these products.
    • This product is known to contain the following listed chemicals:
