EXCEPT AS NOTED IN THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This is the top that is offered by almost all Mustang Vendors. It is comprised of 2 layers of canvas looking Vinyl material and looks the same on the surface as an OEM top. It is often referred to as an OEM replacement, which is not exactly accurate. Original tops had a layer of vinyl, a layer of rubber and then another layer of vinyl. The layer of rubber is to prevent water from being able to seep through the layers of vinyl and drip on the interior of the car. These are excellent quality vinyl convertible tops if you never intend to let water sit on the top of your convertible. Because of this, it is hard to recommend using this top in the pacific northwest, or in any area that tends to have unexpected rain showers.

That being said, this is a high quality top that we use on our own cars including a 1969 428 Cobra Jet XR7. Rear windows have a visible urethane folding seam. The folding seam on these carries an 18 month warranty against splitting or separation, the glass has a 60 month warranty and the rest of the top is covered by a 6 YEAR Manufacturer Warranty.

*NOTE* This is the convertible top only. Top bows, tack strips, and tension cables are NOT included with this item.

Have you ever wondered how a convertible top is installed, or maybe considered trying it yourself? Check out our installation video below!
